Although this was Platz Associates' first medical office building, we had previously designed several doctors' offices at Two Great Falls Plaza. As always, we worked closely with the future occupants, combining our experience with their understanding of their own needs, to create floor plans and interior designs that maximize efficiency and comfort for both the staffs and their clients. There are seven office suites and a medical laboratory on the top three floors. They are serviced by two elevators.

campusaveinterior_sm2.jpg (6048 bytes) In addition to office space, St. Mary's also needed space to host conferences, seminars, and other functions. The F.R. LePage Conference Center was built on the first floor for this purpose. A retractable room divider allows this space to be divided in half. The more formal Richard J. Potvin Room was built for smaller meetings. A kitchen, medical library, and a lobby with a circular information desk are also on the first floor.

As in many of the projects we design, Platz Associates also served as Construction Manager for 99 Campus Ave. This not only saves money for our client, but also results in a quicker construction timetable.
