Platz Associates worked with the developer to first prepare condominium documents for the 4-story building, and then designed a complete interior renovation of this 5,700 square foot full-service branch bank in Auburn, Maine.  Thermal improvements to the building’s exterior and a high-efficiency VRV mechanical system offer year-round energy savings, and a rich modern interior design truly expands the sense of space inside.

An important feature to the revitalization of this downtown Auburn building was the addition of a remote drive-thru canopy to serve bank customers, with the design solution integrating the client’s corporate identity with the massing of the existing building to create a structure that fits with the tight site both visually and functionally.
