The design for this branch bank in Falmouth followed the design concept that Platz Associates developed with the client to provide an open, inviting interior for customers to lounge and interact with their own cellphone or tablet devices, an internet banking kiosk for simple transactions, as well as full-service drive-thru windows and teller service stations.

The lobby design integrates warm wood trim and elegantly detailed glass walls to open the space and reduce the sense of enclosure for both customer and employee. Hidden behind the classic interior appointment is a thoroughly modern commercial building envelope; with super-insulated exterior walls, high performance windows, and a highefficiency mechanical design with a state-of-the-art geothermal heating system.
