SeniorPlus’ new community center facility is located on the lot adjacent to their main offices on Mollison Way. This building will realize their vision of providing fresh and healthy food directly to the local senior community. This will utilize their expanded commercial kitchen which will also serve greater Western Maine to deliver frozen meals. The facility will also act as a community center for seniors, including exercise classes, computer literacy, access to social services, and countless other programs. 

The building is both functional and whimsical, acting like a machine for the efficient processing of frozen meals, while being a friendly space to support the senior community. The building is both fine-tuned to complex technical requirements, while maximizing flexibility for current and future uses in every space. The site has ample parking, food and volunteer loading zones, and is further enhanced by an edible landscape, including fruit trees, blueberry bushes, and raised garden beds.
