Platz Associates completed a campus inventory and facilities planning study to help YMCA Camp of Maine achieve their short and long-term goals. Every existing building on the campus was identified and assigned a tag number to facilitate maintenance and expansion needs.

 

As part of the master plan multiple buildings were surveyed and assessed for renovation or replacement. One proposed new construction facility was designed by Platz Associates as a multi-purpose building to serve as councilor housing / infirmary in the summer and wedding party residence in shoulder seasons. This flexible building is a model for how other buildings on the campus can be remodeled with multiple uses integrated into the design.
